Placing an order with BooksCaterer.com is easy. There's no need to create an account first. You automatically create an account when you place your first order online. Here are the steps you need to follow to place an order.

1. Search the Item(s) You Want
2. Add the items to Your Shopping Cart
3. Proceed to Checkout
4. Sign In/Create a New Account
5. Choose a Shipping Method
6. Select Payment Mode
7. Review and Submit Your Order
8. Check Your Order Status

1. Search the Item(s) You Want

First you will need to browse or search for the item(s)  you would like to order. Keyword search boxes are located on nearly every page of our store. You will also find links to browse lists and more detailed product-specific searches in the top navigation bar of each store. When you find an item that interests you, click the title or name of the item(s) to see its detail page. Here you will find more information about the item(s).

If you don't find what you're looking for at our bookstore, you may write to us at the link <not able to find the book>.

2. Add the Items to Your Shopping Cart

If you want to order an item from BooksCaterer.com, click the button on the item's product detail page. After clicking on the button, the shopping cart pops up in the middle indicating your added item, as illustrated below:

(a) To change the quantity of the item

Put the desired quantity of item you added to the shopping cart.  This option is available below Qty. Thereafter, click on "Recalculate" button to finalize the total cost.

(b) To add more items to the shopping cart

Click on the link "back to shopping" to add more items to the shopping cart or click on the dark side space. Again click on the "Add to Cart" button against the item you would like to add to your Shopping Cart. Keep searching or browsing until your cart contains all of the items you want to order by repeating the earlier process.

Your shopping cart is automatically updated as you add or change the quantity of item(s).  You can access the contents of your Shopping Cart at any time by clicking the at the top of every page of our website. You can see at the top - right corner of the website, as illustrated below.

3. Proceed to Checkout

Take a moment to review all of the items you've placed in your Shopping Cart.

When you're ready to place an order for everything in the "Shopping Cart Items--To Buy Now" section of your cart, click the "checkout" button. You will be taken to the first page of the order form, as illustrated below.

The instructions below outline each step of our online order form. If at any point you encounter difficulty or receive an error message, please write to us at customercare[at]bookscaterer.com.

4. Sign In /Create an Account

If you are placing the order for the first time, enter your profile details, i.e. name, email address, primary telephone, shipping address, etc. as illustrated above. (Keep in mind that the e-mail address you provide here will be the only e-mail address to which we can send information about subsequent orders.). 

Enter your name, re-enter your e-mail address, and choose a account login and password for your account so that when you come back to BooksCaterer.com in the future, you can use the same shipping address and method of payment you provided during this first order. You will also be able to use your password to make changes to your account information. Make sure to choose something you will remember the next time you want to place an order.

5. Choose a Shipping Method

After you enter the required details and click the "Continue" button, you will be provided with shipping courier according to your shipping address you have mentioned earlier. If the shipping address belongs to India, you will be given "Free Shipping Courier" option which is applicable for shipping within India only.  If the shipping address belongs to Countries other than India, you will be given shipping couriers for the respective destinations alongwith their respective courier charges. Shipping for India destinations is illustrated below:

6. Select Payment Mode

Next, let us know how you would like to pay for your order. BooksCaterer.com accepts American Express, Diners Club, Discover, JCB, MasterCard, Eurocard, Visa, Visa Check Cards, payment from your online bank account through CCAvenue Secured Payment Gateway. Other than this option of payment, BooksCaterer.com also accepts the payments made through Paypal*, Cheque / Demand Draft, Money orders. All orders must be prepaid.

* To Pay via Paypal, first set the currency of this website to US Dollars or UK Pounds and then proceed with the order. This option is available at top right corner of the website. The website has Otherwise, it will not work.

7. Review, Confirm and Submit Your Order with the Payment.

Check the accuracy all of the information you provided and make any necessary adjustments. When you are ready, click the "Place Your Order" button to submit your order. Once you place your order, we will send you a confirmation e-mail message. We will send you another e-mail message at the time of shipment. You may also place your message in respect of your order, under comments. For orders with online payments via CCAvenue Payment Gateway or Paypal, you will required to click on "Pay Now" button as illustrated below. Your order page will be transferred to the highly secured respective payment gateway as opted by you while placing the order.

8. Check Your Order Status

After the order with the payment is placed, we send you email message to update you in respect of your order. Alternatively, you can also check the status of your order by clicking on the link "Order Status" available at the top bar of the website.
